To delete all messages in the Trash or the Spam folder (or, of course, both) in Proton Mail:
- Open the Spam folder in Proton Mail.
Trash: To empty the Trash folder, open it instead.
Proton Mail keyboard shortcuts: Press G S to go to the Spam folder and G T for the Trash. - Open the the three dots More menu (⋯).
- Select Delete all from the menu that has appeared.
- Click Delete to confirm your choice.

Empty the Trash in the Proton Mail App
To delete all messages in the Trash folder using the Proton Mail app for Android or iOS:
- Go to the Trash folder.
- Tap the three dots menu (⋯).
- Select Empty Trash from the menu.
- Now tap Delete for Empty trash folder?.
Empty “Spam” in the Proton Mail App
To remove all junk emails in the Proton Mail Spam folder using the apps for iOS or Android:
- Open the Spam folder in the Proton Mail app.
- Now open the three dots menu (⋯).
- Choose Empty Spam.
- Tap Delete for Empty spam folder?.
