- In Gmail, check all messages you want to delete.

Mouse selection shortcuts: Click the Select checkbox in the list header to select all, and click the caret next to it to choose between selecting all or none and by read or star status.
Find messages to delete: You can use Gmail search to find — and then select — the group of messages you want to delete, for example all emails from a specific sender.
- Click the Delete trashcan icon in the Gmail toolbar.
