How to Check the iCloud Mail System Status for Known Issues

To check for issues with iCloud Mail (e.g. the iCloud.com website or IMAP access to email) known to Apple:
- Visit the Apple System Status page.
- Look for issues under iCloud Mail and Mail Drop.
What to look for: Yellow diamonds mean known current issues. A green dot with a linked category points to a past, resolved issue.
- Click the iCloud Mail or Mail Drop heading to learn more about the issue with iCloud Mail and its current status.
What you will learn: You can see when the issue began (check if that coincides with your problems first surfacing), and some information about how many users are affected as well as the general nature of the problem. Do not expect involved or technical information, just a short summary of the issue’s effects.
