To insert the per mille sign using the emoji panel on Windows:
- Position the text cursor where you want to insert the per mille sign ‘‰’.
Here’s where: The per mille symbol is used like the percent sign, immediately following the number, without whitespace in between.
- Open the Windows emoji panel.
Here’s how: Press Windows . (period), for example, to open the emoji keyboard.
- Select the %⟳△+ (Symbols) tab.
- Jump to the General punctuation section.
- Now select ‰ to insert the per mille sign.
Using the Windows Touch Keyboard for the Per Mille Symbol
To input the per mille sign on Windows with the built-in on-screen touch keyboard:
- Bring up the Windows touch keyboard.
