Set up a Passkey for a Zoho Mail Account
Time needed: 3 minutes
To add passkey support to your Zoho Mail account:
- Select My Account in Zoho Mail.
Here’s where: My Account usually shows as an avatar near the top right corner of Zoho Mail.
- Open the link to My Account.
- Go to Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Select Set up Now for Passkey.
Not the first: Choose Add Passkey instead if you have previously configured signing in with a passkey.
- Type the name you will use to identify the passkey under Passkey Name.
Here’s why: You can set up more than one passkey for Zoho Mail, say one using iCloud and one with a Google Password Manager.
- Click Next.
Authenticate: Log in using your Zoho Mail password or two-factor authentication if you are prompted.
- Use your device’s guidance to set up a passkey using the device itself or one running iOS or Android.

To log in to Zoho Mail with a passkey:
- Open the Zoho Mail log-in page.
- Type your Zoho Mail address over Email address or mobile number.
- Click Next.
- Use your passcode manager to select and use the passkey you created before.

Disable a Passkey
To revoke access using a particular passkey:
- Go to the Multi-Factor Authentication settings in your Zoho account page (see above).
- Click the Delete link that appears as you hover over the unwanted passkey.
Just one: Click View more to see all passkeys for the Zoho Mail account if Zoho only displays the most recently one set up (and that’s not the one you want to remove). - Click Confirm.
