You’ve divided your screen into perfectly shaped little corners with FancyZones — but not every app or window fits neatly inside them. Instead of reshuffling your layout, let certain windows occupy more than one area. Find out here how to snap a window across multiple zones with MS PowerToys FancyZones ⤓.
First, Letter to River and Air
Back when a crop-dusting company decided to carry people to the air and clouds in 1928, its name — Huff Daland — no longer fit. The CEO wanted something short, something that could lift.
Catherine Fitzgerald, the assistant, thought of the river and its delta that had fed their crops. “Delta,” she suggested. The name took flight.
Delta Air Lines kept the name and its triangular mark, echoing the Greek letter Δ and its reflection in river deltas like the Mississippi’s.
Now, how about letting a window gracefully stretch the same way across FancyZones — without ever leaving the ground?
