No, you cannot see an existing application-specific password in plain text inside Fastmail.

To restore access for an email program if you have forgotten its app password:

  1. Delete the existing app password in Fastmail to revoke it.
  2. Create a new app password for the application.

Can I re-use an app password?

Better not; it is best to create a unique application password for each specific use and email application.

This ensures you can delete passwords for applications you no longer use (and prevent the password from being used to access your email even if it is lost) without having to create new passwords for email clients you go on using.
